"Clay Target Shoot Out"

Combine two great clay target sports, add a little bit of “American Idol,” “Survivor,” and NASCAR and you’ve got Clay Target Shootout, the official television series of both the National Skeet Shooting Association and National Sporting Clays Association.
Fast-paced and fun, Clay Target Shootout pits competitors of all ages and ability levels in a game of skill, wit, and sometimes, luck. Beyond the “traditional” presentations, a few twists, turns and unusual targets liven up the competition. Until the final shot, you never know who will win!
Show host Lisa Densmore, a former competitive clays shooter and award-winning television producer, calls all the action. Co-host Phil Bourjaily (shooting editor for Field & Stream magazine) provides strategic and technical insights.
Bourjaily also offers “Phil’s Tips,” an insider’s advice on everything from shotgun choice to target types. A guest expert from each course educates viewers in the “Pro Tips” segment.

Hi, my name is Casey Jones. I am 15 years old. I have a heart condition called Kawasaki Disease. It is the leading cause of acquired heart disease in children. I became passionate about shotgun shooting at the age of 10 after being advised by my Cardiologist not to participate in contact sports.
I was recently selected to participate in the "Clay Target Shootout". The television program is a 12 week long series being aired on the Fox Sports Channel this coming October 08.
This unique opportunity gave me a chance to showcase my passion for shotgun shooting while raising awareness for the Kawasaki Disease Foundation.
